Sophia Martinez is a 24 year old Mexican and Guatemalan artist born in Miami, Florida and raised in South Carolina. She wanted to escape the small minded town her whole youth so she made her way to the north by first moving to DC. After a few years in the "DMV"(DC, Maryland, Virginia) art scene she finally moved to NYC in 2016 to pursue her passion in the arts.

She worked in sketching & illustration first then leading herself into acrylic painting in 2014. Since then shes dabbled into photography & digital art/graphic design. Her art derives from visuals she get from day dreaming, raw human emotions/tragedies, & mental illness such as depression & anxiety.
